Workshop on Teaching at the CUNY Colleges

Wednesday, November 14, at 3.00pm in RM C203

Led by Nickolas Pappas, Professor of Philosophy at City College and the Graduate Center, and recent recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award at City College

Prof. John Greenwood has organized a workshop on teaching at the CUNY colleges for first year students, primarily for students on Chancellor’s Fellowships who will start teaching at the colleges in fall 2012, but he thought it might also be useful for new MA students who might want to teach at one of the CUNY colleges next year or beyond, and for any student who missed our sessions in previous years. This will take place on Wednesday, November 14, at 3.00pm in RM C203 (concourse level), and he encourages you to attend. The workshop will be led by Nickolas Pappas, Professor of Philosophy at City College and the Graduate Center, and recent recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award at City College. He will be joined by other faculty members and students who have been highly praised as successful teachers by the chairs of their college departments.
