Princeton CRNAP Modality Conference

Princeton CRNAP Modality Conference

Faculty and graduate students in the CUNY GC Philosophy Program are invited to attend a conference on modality to be held at Princeton during the weekend of November 17 – 18, 2012. If you would like to participate, please RSVP to Brigid Sudnick at Princeton.

*This conference was not organized by CUNY. For the most recent version of the schedule please visit the Princeton website.

The topic is modality very broadly conceived, including epistemic modality, counterfactuals, supervenience, the epistemology of modality, and the applications and significance of modal concepts in different areas of philosophy.

The conference is organized under the auspices of the Collaborative Research Network in Analytic Philosophy (CRNAP), a consortium of the philosophy departments at Oxford, ANU, Princeton and the Institut Jean Nicod in Paris.

For a tentative version of the program, see below. Details are likely to change. The finalized schedule of talks will be announced at some time closer to the event.
