New York Philosophy of Language Workshop: Spring 2018 Talks

“We’re a community of philosophers of language centered in New York City. We have a meeting each week at which a speaker presents a piece of their own work relating to the philosophy of language.
During the Spring 2018, we’ll meet at NYU
(5 Washington Place, Room 302) on Monday evenings from 6:30 until 8:30. . . .
Anyone with an interest in philosophy of language is welcome!”

“We would also like to mention that NYU’s Mind and Language Seminar will be of special interest this term. The seminar will be run by Jim Pryor and Cian Dorr, will meet on Tuesday afternoons, and will be on Formal Frameworks for Semantics and Pragmatics. It will feature weekly guest appearances by linguists and philosophers, some of whom have previously spoken at the workshop, and some of whom will have cross-over appearances at the workshop this term. You can find more information about the Mind and Language Seminar, including the full schedule of guests, at NYU Philosophy’s Graduate Course description page.”
