Brain Educator (Part-Time, Temporary), American Museum of Natural History

The Youth Initiatives division of the department of Education is seeking a part time Brain Educator to develop and implement adult learning courses on brain related topics.

This job will include designing course curricula, choosing and booking guest speakers, preparing course materials, and facilitating all classes. Additionally, this position will act as a content specialist and educator for brain related programs for youth and the public.

Required Qualifications

·        Doctoral level training required

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Connections to the neuroscience community of NYC

·        Ability to work independently but report to Manager of the Sackler Educational Lab

Preferred Qualifications

A.B.D. or Ph.D. preferred
