Teaching Workshop: Greenwood & Pappas

Hi all

Please note that I have organized a workshop on teaching at the CUNY colleges for first year students. This will take place on Wednesday, December 11, at 2.00pm in Rm 6495, and I encourage you all to attend. The workshop will be led by Nickolas Pappas, Professor of Philosophy at City College and the Graduate Center, and recent recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award at City College. He will be joined by other faculty members and students who have been highly praised as successful teachers by the chairs of their college departments.

We hope we can impart some pearls of practical wisdom and provide you with some useful tips for charting the waters of undergraduate philosophy education at CUNY. Look forward to seeing you there. Best. John G
